Description: Near the entrance to the building (approx. 5m) there is 1 parking space for people with disabilities: in the internal parking lot in front of the main entrance to the building from ul. Powstańców Wlkp.
Main entrance to the building:
- has stairs equipped with handrails,
- has stairs, while the ramp is located on the other side of the building, on the side of ul. T. Kościuszko – main entrance to the Novum Philological Library
- The entrance from the ramp leads to building level 0 to block C to overcome the stairs (4 steps + 4 steps) from level 0 (main hall) to the elevators that go from level -1 to 6 block A, and levels -1 to 5 block B, use the stairlift located between blocks C and B and A
Inside the building:
- there are stairs with handrails on both sides,
- there are elevators that serve all levels and parts of the facility,
- lifts are equipped with voice messages and buttons with Braille alphabet,
- there are toilets adapted for people with disabilities:
1 toilet, ground floor (main hall), block B,
1 toilet on the ground floor (main hall) by the lifts, block A, and in
1 toilet on each floor in the library.
The information system for people with sensory disabilities includes:
- Inductophonic loops installed in the rooms for people with hearing impairments,
- Plaques with the room number in Braille and information in QR codes installed on the doors to the rooms,
- Screens displaying information important from the point of view of AMU students and staff in the faculty halls.
You can enter the facility with an assistance dog, but with restrictions regarding laboratories where the presence of animals is excluded due to health and safety regulations
